ACE-031 is a soluble fusion protein that has been shown to increase muscle mass and strength in the study. ACE-031 is being studied as a metabolic disease, children with kidney tumors, cardiovascular abnormalities, age-related muscle loss and cancer treatment-related muscle loss and neuromuscular disease treatment. ACE-031 is a biotherapeutic agent based on activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB). The molecule binds to ActRIIB receptors to inhibit signaling and increases muscle mass and intensity. ACE-031 is a recombinant fusion protein synthesized by fusion of standard antibodies and partial ActRIIB receptors. Recombinant fusion proteins eliminate myogenic inhibin and other biomolecules that limit muscle strength or growth.
ACE-031 is a protein that regulates muscle growth in the TGF-β superfamily. ACE-031 acts on the molecular switches of these molecules and promotes muscle growth. In the experimental study, ACE-031 promoted muscle growth and inhibited ActRIIB receptor signaling. In preclinical studies, administration of ACE-031 for two weeks increased skeletal muscle density, decreased leptin levels, and increased adiponectin.
Some bodybuilders use ACE-031 to promote muscle growth and improve lean muscle. ACE-031 No serious adverse events. Most common adverse events are mild and tolerant.
