Acetyl Glutamyl Heptapeptide-3 or Acetyl Octapeptide-1 (ou -3) (SNAP-8) is scientifically and reasonablely designed of anti-wrinkle active ingredients of polypeptide. It has a similar role to Areginine Essence and has become one of the most popular raw materials around the world for upscale anti-wrinkle cosmetics.Anti-wrinkles caused by the contraction of muscles of facial expression, decreasing neuronal excitability by SNARE complex destabilisation.
Snap-8, this ingredient contains eight amino acids and (hence the "Octa") has the same (some say much better) anti wrinkle qualities of Acetyl Hexapeptide-8. Snap-8 produced roughly 35% reduction in wrinkle depth.
