TB-500 is a synthetic fraction of the protein thymosin beta-4, which is present in virtually all human and animal cells. The main purpose of this peptide is to promote healing. It also promotes creation of new blood and muscle cells. The healing effects of TB-500 have been observed in tendons, ligaments, muscle, peau, heart, and the eyes. Thymosin beta-4 is naturally produced in higher concentration where tissue has been damaged. This peptide is also a very potent anti-inflamatory agent.TB-500 is different from other repair factors, because it promotes endothelial and keratinocyte migration. It also does not bind to the extracellular matrix and has a very low molecular weight. Because of this it can travel long distances through the tissues in the human body.

TB-500 Thymosin Beta 4 has a peptide purity level that exceeds 99.0% as determined by HPLC and MS. This peptide was synthesized with no additives and is supplied as a white lyophilized (freeze-dried) poudre. TB-500 is a peptide fragment hormone that is primarily used in the treatment of various muscle injuries or pain caused by inflammation. There is very little official human data available for this product; cependant, it has been a longtime hormone used in racehorses. TB-500, although synthetic, serves to act as a synthetic form (loosely) of Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-4). TB-500 is not TB-4; although very commonly confused as TB-4, it is designed to provide the benefits of the naturally occurring thymus produced hormone.

TB500 is distributed as a lyophilized powder that should be kept out of the light and in a cool dry place. Reconstitution is done with bacteriostatic water or sodium chloride meant for injection. Doses range from 2-2.5mg twice weekly for 4-6 semaines (some user have reported success in dosing higher up to 8mg a week but how much more effective this is yet to be seen) . Beyond that, one to two monthly injections of 2-2.5mg of TB500 can be further utilized to maintain rapid recovery and flexibility in strained areas.
