Abaloparatid CAS:247062-33-5

Abaloparatide (brand name Tymlos) is a parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) analog drug used to treat osteoporosis. Like the related drug teriparatide, and unlike bisphosphonates, it is an anabolic (i.e., bone growing) agent. I 2017, it was approved to treat postmenopausal osteoporosis in the United States.

-Treatment of postmenopausal women with osteoporosis at high risk for fracture
-Increase of bone mass in men with primary or hypogonadal osteoporosis at high risk for fracture
-Treatment of men and women with osteoporosis associated with sustained systemic glucocorticoid therapy at high risk for fracture
