YK-11 er en syntetisk, steroid selektiv androgenreseptormodulator (SARM). Det er en gen-selektiv partiell agonist av androgenreseptoren (AR) og induserer ikke den fysiske interaksjonen mellom NTD/AF1 og LBD/AF2 (kjent som N/C-interaksjonen), som er nødvendig for full transaktivering av AR.
