Olivetol, également connu sous le nom de 5-pentylresorcino1 ou 5-pentyl-1,3-benzènediol, est un composé organique présent dans certaines espèces de lichen; c'est également un précurseur dans diverses synthèses de tétrahydrocannabino1.

Olivetol fait partie de la classe des résorcino1s qui sont les résorcino1 dans lesquels l'hydrogène en position 5 est remplacé par un groupe pentyle. Il joue un rôle de métabolite du lichen.
